041022 - Invisible Cities (continued) and JR: Can Art Change the World? (TED Talk)

Today I continued with my Mogao cave (it could also be used as an incense burner if you turn it upside down) and associated clay work (one candle holder box, two totems) - they were 95% dried so I put them in the kiln room getting ready to be fired.

In today's Artist Talk, Susi introduced us to multimedia artist JR who has been continuously to tackle ambitious projects around the world. We watched the TED Talks programme on Youtube called "JR: Can Art Change the World?" - his imagination, bravery and attempts to bring people together almost made me into tears. It was inspiring indeed!
